HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF LUCKNOW-
Lucknow was set up by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula in 1775. Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula of the Awadh dynasty was comprised of artists and thinkers from Persia. Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula is a prominent name in Lucknow’s history. He commissioned the construction of magnificent monuments. Mohammad Amir Saadat Khan was appointed as the viceroy of Awadh.
